Preserving sneakers and brand equity for adidas Originals
Licensed to design, produce and distribute sneaker care products for adidas Originals, Undercover Brothers approached us to design and produce a scaled up version of the iconic adidas shoe box to house their new collection of shoe care products.
We screen printed the outer box in adidas blue, and both the inner and outer were die cut and creased in house before being shipped to the client. The challenge was to create individual housings within the box to ensure the products remained correctly located inside. Our structural designers created a sturdy, sleek, inner product layer, using card rather than the more traditional but now much less popular plastic to underpin the adidas Originals sustainability credentials.
The Originals range expresses an attitude of originality that pays attention to preserving and protecting authenticity, individuality and confidence. Our adidas icon boxes delivered a fresh, contemporary and iconic unboxing experience.
